Southeast Steuben County Library Creating & Sharing in the Digital Age: Website design for Writers and Artists

A hands-on workshop that will be led by Andrei Guruianu, published author and Senior Language Lecturer in the Expository Writing Program at New York University. He will teach how to create a user-friendly interface to present and promote your work online, and even how to use a site as additional digital storage. Attendees will learn to work with templates, to create pages and blogs, how to integrate images and audio, and how to connect sites to social media. Participants are urged to bring a laptop so that a project started at the workshop can be continued at home. There will be a limited number of library loaner laptops available. Workshop size is limited to 18. Registration is required.
