Sue Ellen Wagner - Bio
Sue Ellen Wagner is the Executive Director of the Healthcare Trustees of New York State (HTNYS), which is dedicated to strengthening the governance of New York's voluntary and municipal health care facilities.  Ms. Wagner also serves as the Vice President of Community Health for HANYS.

As Executive Director of HTNYS, Ms. Wagner is responsible for overseeing the organization's overall advocacy, strategic planning, and educational programming activities. Ms. Wagner also provides insight, guidance, and an overall association strategy on operational and policy issues. She is a frequent speaker on a number of governance and policy-related topics.  In her role as Vice President of Community Health, Ms. Wagner oversees the association-wide community health legislative and regulatory agenda, including developing and coordinating information and member tools, designing and developing educational programming, and strategic planning of products and services.
Ms. Wagner has been a member of HANYS' policy staff for over 18 years where she served in many leadership roles, including Vice President of the association's Workforce and Physician policy agendas.
