\n\nJoin The ARTS Council of the Southern Finger Lakes (The ARTS Council) for a workshop on demystifying the grant process on Tuesday\, October 13\, from 6-7:30pm at the Elmira Economic Opportunity Program (EOP) at 650 Baldwin St. in Elmira\, NY.
\n\n\;
\n\nThe workshop will be held in the Board room at EOP. Someone will be at the front door to point you in the right direction.
\n\nGrants provide essential support for artists and community organizations. But too often\, applying for a grant can be
\n\nintimidating and bureaucratic.
\n\n\;
\n\nIn this workshop\, join The ARTS Council&rsquo\;s Director of Public Programs\, Casey Winston\, and Grants Manager\, Nate Weisenberg\, to learn more about strategies for grant writing success.
\n\n\;
\n\nWe will discuss:
\n\n·\; How to write a grant application if it&rsquo\;s your first time
\n\n·\; Strategies to help your application stand out
\n\n·\; Examples of what to do and what to avoid
\n\n·\; How to put together a budget
\n\n·\; And more!

\n\nBring your questions and something to write with. We want to give you money and we'\;ll help you get there!
